Using the "My Symbols" list you get quick access to the best ROI for selling options on the stocks that you trade. While the stock lists located on the "Best ROI" pages are a great starting point to find options to sell based on ROI they may not suit your trading style. Many of those stocks are high volatility growth or meme stocks. You may sell options against those but many prefer to only sell options against stocks they would own longer term.



How to use the "My Symbols" list

To start adding symbols you'll need to login. The link to login is located at the top right of optionsellerroi.com. There's no need to create an account, simply enter your email and you'll be sent a login link and your account will be linked to that email address. Once you're logged in you should now see a star icon next to all the symbols on the page. Clicking that star icon will add the symbol to your list.



Custom symbols

Patreon subscribers of any level have the ability to add custom symbols to the "My Symbols" list. Even if you subscribe for $1 / month you can add your own custom symbols. To use this option go to one of the "Best ROI" pages and select "My Symbols" from the stock list drop down. Here you'll see a button to "Add new 'My Symbol'". That button will open a dialog where you can manually add a symbol. The number of custom symbols you can add depends on your subscription amount on Patreon. Only symbols that aren't already listed on optionsellerroi.com will be counted against your limit. So if you add TSLA for example it won't count against your limit.



Custom Symbol Limit

The amount you contribute monthly on Patreon determines how many custom symbols you can add.  Here's how that works.

$1-4 / month contribution - Add up to 5 custom symbols
$5+ - Add 2 custom symbols per $1 of your monthly contribution.  For example $5 = 10 custom symbols.

There is a maximum of 20 custom symbols at this time.

Speed up your options search

Now that you're setup with My Symbols how do you use it? Well personally I put all the symbols I either own enough shares of to sell covered calls against or wouldn't mind owning 100 shares of on my list. Every day I take a look at my list, see which symbols look interesting by looking at ROI / year, stock distance from strike and the chart to see how the stock is performing. I sell covered calls weekly so this list makes it super simple for me to pick which options I'm going to sell. You can set filters however you'd like then bookmark the page so you can jump right back to your preferred settings. As you change the filters the ROI changes based on days to expiration and the option premium.
